Thick Barbecue Burgers Recipe

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  • Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, barbecue sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form into thick patties.
  • Grill patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  • During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  • Grill the hamburger buns for 1-2 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  • Assemble burgers with desired toppings and serve.
